JC van Zyl

JC completed his BA (Law & Psychology) and LLB degrees at the University of the North West. Following a 7-year stint at one of the larger firms in Gauteng, he joined our firm in 2022 and was appointed as a senior associate heading our criminal defence department.

JC’s practice extends from commercial litigation to alternative dispute resolution as well as judicial executions and, in addition, has a profound passion for and interest in criminal law.

He is passionate about the great outdoors, wildlife and travelling. JC is a keen shooter and also an avid hunter, his interests naturally include anything and everything that involves adrenaline.
